Our story
In 2019, TIOmarkets holdings launched TIOmarkets UK, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 06592025 and is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA license number 488900). An international business company was also registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with registration number 24986.
The company was founded by a group of private investors who had extensive brokerage and trading experience. The idea was to deploy a multi-asset exchange built on block chain technology.
By the end of 2019, we launched our very own dividend paying digital currency linked to the revenue generated from trading activity on the platform. The initial coin offering raised $31 million and we have paid out over $1 million in dividends to investors since.
During 2019, we continued to learn, evolve and add more products to provide a more complete trading solution. This is when we decided to fully transition to the popular MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. Due to their simplicity, better bridging solutions and greater access to liquidity providers. As a result, our pricing and execution speeds were greatly improved, which boosted the platform’s popularity and our reach continued to grow.
